Hi, I'm Linda Marini, aka Winnie Woo. I have worked with children for over 30 years. Throughout those years I have met some exceptional children who, with a little encouragement, have become exceptional adults and parents. In 2008, I began writing a series of books for children with special needs. The first two books published were on seizures and scars. Though not life threatening problems, children with these problems and others (ad/h, asthma, speech impediments, freckles and other oddities, and more) need to know they aren't so different from any one of us. I am continuing to write the series and will have one to two books out per year.
